China's shoemaking technology has been hand-stitched molding technology for a long time. Since the 20th century, advanced technology and special equipment have been introduced from abroad, and the shoemaking process has developed rapidly, which can be roughly divided into sewing process, injection molding process, molding process, bonding process, assembly process, etc.

Sewing process

The stitching process is mainly to stitch the upper and the sole of the shoe by hand or machine. It is the traditional molding method for leather shoes and cloth shoes. This kind of craft has two kinds of hand sewing and machine sewing. The hand-stitched anti-line, bright-line, and positive-line are the traditional methods of cloth shoes, and the bead seam and welt seam in the machine seam are the traditional methods of leather shoes.

Injection molding process

There are 4 methods of injection molding process. ①Injection method: with medium injection pressure and high barrel temperature, synthetic resin plastic is injected into the mold to complete the solidification of the sole and the combined molding of the upper sole at one time. Mostly used in cloth shoes. Leather shoes, plastic shoes, rubber shoes also use this kind of technology. ②Glue injection method: The rubber is plasticized through the barrel, and then injected into the mold with a higher injection pressure, and the bottom making and the bottom bonding are completed at the same time. Used for cloth shoes and rubber shoes. ③Pouring method: The A and B components of a quantitative reactive raw material liquid (such as polyurethane, polyamide, etc.) are stirred at high speed in the mixing head and poured into the mold cavity to make it under normal (high) pressure Curing and forming. Now it is mostly used in the production of rubber shoes and a few cloth shoes. ④Slush molding method: pour the plastisol into the cavity of the shoe and shoe cavity, and rotate the mold while heating, so that a part of the plastisol is attached to the cavity wall under the action of centrifugal force to solidify into a green body, and the excess plastisol is poured , Continue to heat the body to mature and shape, and then put it into the shoe lining after demolding. Used for rubber shoes and plastic shoes.

Molding process

In the molding process, the shoe sole and the strip (for rubber shoes) are attached to the foot of the last stretched upper (the lower mouth of the upper), and the rubber blank is put into the mold, heated and pressurized, and formed by vulcanization. It is mostly used in rubber shoes, leather shoes and cloth shoes.

Bonding process

There are 3 methods of bonding process: ① Thermal vulcanization bonding method: each part of the shoe is pasted into the vulcanizing tank, heated indirectly with steam or directly heated with air and steam, while the rubber parts are vulcanized, the upper and the bottom Bonding molding. Among them, the outsole, bottom heel and other parts are pre-molded and then pasted with other parts into the vulcanizing tank for heating and vulcanization, which is called the secondary vulcanization method, which is a traditional process for rubber shoes production. Some cloth shoes also use this method. ②Cold bonding method: Coat the upper and sole with adhesive, and press and bond them at room temperature. Now it is mostly used in leather shoes, cloth shoes and rubber shoes. ③Adhesive seam method: After the upper and sole are cold-adhered, the periphery of the sole is sewn with seams to enhance the fastness between the sole and the upper.

Assembly process

The assembly process assembles the shoe parts made by injection molding, molding or punching into a shoe. Now it is mostly used in plastic slippers and plastic slippers.
